Denise’s bio

My mother and her sisters sang commercials on radio when they were young women. As a result, I have always had music in my life. I grew up in a very formal Catholic environment (our small, private school had a parish church on the premises). By “formal” I mean that services were in Latin and mostly Gregorian Chant. Yes it was sheltered. However, when at home, we reveled in the popular music genre.

So it wasn’t too surprising that I drifted toward classical music….yet another frontier. I found that I had an aptitude, vocal talent and innate understanding for it. I hope that this has brought a measure of comfort and joy to people within my small universe of sound.

I love this recording and never tire of listening to it. The rehearsing and recording process was fascinating and is the area in which I feel most comfortable. But the editing process brought all of my skills full circle and proved to be remarkably satisfying.
